I am absolutely not expecting anything to happen here. BUT, if this story means something to you - if you see a bit of your own mountain in mine - and you want to help carry a little weight, here's how you can support the journey.
Every purchase from Wood Two, every donation, every share - it all gets poured back into the climb. Nothing flashy. Nothing corporate. Just a boost from a fellow climber.
Oh, one more thing. When I climbed Kilimanjaro, I did it for school libraries. This time I am doing it for the thing I really hope to do the rest of my life. My plan is to share that story in the coming months too but for now I'll say it is about a burning call to create to space and opportunity for the biological children of Africa (specifically the descendants of those removed from her by force) to experience at least a taste of the love she showed me, an adopted child of Africa. Stay tuned for that story and more about the vision for the work.
